The entire Lion Elastomers family wishes to congratulate our own Russ Vogelsong on being elected as Secretary of the Rubber Division, ACS for 2022. This role will eventually lead to the highest volunteer position in the organization, the Chair of the Rubber Division, ACS in 2026. You can find more information on LinkedIn.

Russ joined Lion in 2011 and has 17 years of polymer industry experience.  He’s held positions in polymer compounding, product development, and field technical service.  He is currently the Manager of Technical Services and Application Development.  
 
Russ joined the Rubber Division, ACS, in 2005, and during his time in the organization, has served on the Marketing, Education, Scholarship, and Membership committees.  He has been the Co-Chair of the Membership Committee since 2015.
 
Russ graduated in 2004 from the University of Akron with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and was featured in the July 2017 Rubber News Article “Under 40: Rubber Industry Full of Young and Promising Talent.”
