Lion Elastomers Employee Represents the Next Generation of the Rubber Industry
Lion Elastomers employee, Russ Vogelsong, had the honor of being selected as one of Rubber and Plastics News’ Under 40 Class of 2017.

This year, the magazine selected 28 candidates from different sectors of the rubber industry that they are confident will continue its improvement and success. The rubber industry is often misperceived as being geared toward a mature workforce, but dedicated employees, like Vogelsong prove otherwise.

Russ is a Senior Technical Service Scientist at Lion Elastomers. He was selected for his leadership in the development of new products for wire and cable applications. Russ is also Chairman of the Membership Committee of the ACS Rubber Division. Vogelsong was inspired to pursue a career in the rubber industry after attending an expo where he gained more knowledge about the wide range of materials and applications which rubber goes in to.

Lion Elastomers is fortunate to have many employees, like Russ, to carry the legacy of this company and the industry into the future.
